Scheduled Tasks are very helpful for a busy user. With scheduled tasks, you can schedule any script, program, or document to open/run at any time that is most suitable for you. Scheduled Tasks starts each time your system starts and runs in the background.

With Scheduled Tasks, you can also:

  • Schedule a task to run daily, weekly, monthly, or at certain times (such as system startup).
  • Change the schedule for a task.
  • Stop a scheduled task.
  • cancel a scheduled task
  • Customize how a task will run at a scheduled time.

Select default operating system for startup

If you have more then one OS installed on your system, you might be facing this problem
Right click at my computer and click at properties
On the Advanced tab, under Startup and Recovery, click Settings.
Under System startup, there is Default operating system option, you can select the operating system you want to start when you starts.
Select the Display list of operating systems for check box, and then type the number of seconds you want the list displayed before the default operating system starts .
